Story Behind the Project

Impatient to wait for the JacobMaate version, I decided to create a temporary SAHP model for this brand-new GTA V vehicle. It started as a small edit, but the excitement surrounding the model encouraged me to incorporate as many details as possible to match Jacob's work on his SAHP pack.

Thank you, Jacob, for your SAHP assets, and thanks to Nacho for the amazing STX model!

Please note that this is my first vehicle release, and I’m still learning Zmodeler. Kindly report any bugs with patience.

Installation Instructions

1. Drop "sahpstx" folder in MODS/update/x64/dlcpacks.
2. Add dlcpacks:/sahp2stx/ in MODS/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml.
3. Optional: If you have DLS, download and install the sahp.xml DLS config file from neversober81 DLS megapack. Add sahp2stx inside the -Models- tag at the beginning of the file.
4. Launch the game and spawn the car using:
   • "sahp2stx": lightbar model
   • "sahp2astx": slicktop with pushbar
   • "sahp2bstx": slicktop without pushbar

Slicktop versions spawn in full white and black/white variations.

Extras & Liveries

Note: Spawning a vehicle with a trainer might not always display the correct livery and color variation. Use your trainer to adjust the livery if necessary. When spawned in traffic, the correct livery and color variation will be used.

Please use your trainer to select the desired extras as specific variations cannot be forced to spawn with specific extras in GTA config files.

DLS and Siren

The siren functions like any other non-ELS vehicle but is better with DLS for stage 1/2/3 lighting effects.

Drop the sahp2stx.xml into your DLS directory. Remove any prior sahp2stx entries from other .xml files to avoid conflicts.

Siren Sound

The default siren uses the FBI siren slot. To change this, use one of the provided .rel files in the chooseSIREN folder (refer to the howto.txt in that folder). Options include police, policeb, sheriff2, or fbi siren sounds.

If using DLS, you can change the siren sound for your vehicle directly in the .xml file. AI will continue using the sound defined in the .rel file.
