The Ford Zakspeed Capri is a legendary vehicle developed by a private racing team in Germany, founded by Erich Zakowski in 1968. In the late 1970s, Zakspeed became the official Ford team in Germany, competing in the DRM series (Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft), which is the predecessor to today's DTM series. The introduction of Group 5 regulated cars in 1977 revolutionized the series, allowing high-powered, turbo-charged cars to compete.

Zakspeed's modification of the Mark 3 Capri focused on extreme weight reduction and high downforce, making the car almost unrecognizable apart from its iconic front grill and curvy roof line. Equipped with a Formula 1-inspired ground effect Venturi diffuser and floor, along with thin aluminum panels, the Capri boasted an impressive power-to-weight ratio. Competing from 1978 to 1983, the car achieved notable success by winning the overall championship in the 1981 DRM season with Klaus Ludwig behind the wheel.

Installation Instructions

1. Go to gta5 / mods / update / x64 / dlcpacks
2. Create a new folder named "fordcaprigroup5" and drag dlc.rpf into this folder.
3. Then navigate to gta5 / mods / update / update.rpf / common / data
4. Edit dlclist.xml, adding "dlcpacks:/fordcaprigroup5/" to the list.
