Introduced in September 2018, these units are renowned for their specialized armoring, specifically the armor for the shooter's position in the rear vehicle box. Manufactured by the General Directorate of Military Industry (DGIM), the armor is mounted on a 360-degree rotating annular base, offering continuous frontal protection for the shooter. This armored mount is equipped with two armored glass peepholes, allowing the shooter to fire an FN Herstal MINIMI PARA (Mini Mitrailleuse) 7.62 mm caliber weapon without exposing their head. El Camion ligero Chevrolet Cheyenne 2500 doble cabina es un vehículo versátil utilizado por el Ejército Mexicano. Introducido en septiembre de 2018, estas unidades son conocidas por su blindaje especializado, específicamente para la posición del tirador en la caja trasera del vehículo. Fabricado por la Dirección General de Industria Militar (DGIM), el blindaje está montado sobre una base anular que gira 360 grados, ofreciendo protección frontal continua al tirador.
