Forget about KERS, DRS, and gear paddles—those are for amateurs. A classic steering wheel, a traditional H-pattern manual transmission, and a powerful roaring engine are all a real driver needs. This beast from the 80s is tough, and not everyone who dared to tame it lived to tell the tale. So keep your eyes peeled on the track. And for those who think they're up to the challenge, the CW1988T model offers that extra power you crave.

Entara CW1988 Public Release 1.0

Features:

• 2 F1 cars: CW1988 (naturally aspirated) and CW1988T (turbocharged), each with unique designs, engine sounds, and handling.
• All teams, cars, engines, liveries, and wheels from the 1988 Formula 1 World Championship recreated in a lore-friendly style.
• Pegassi Torero Safety Car inspired by the Lamborghini Countach Safety Car used during the early 80s Monaco Grand Prix.
• Realistic damage system: Suspensions break in case of a violent shock, resulting in the loss of the attached wheel. Spoilers can also be lost, impacting car behavior.
• CW1988 Script: Matches wheels with the selected livery and includes a DrivingMode script for an onboard TV camera. Press V to toggle TV camera.
• All standard game features (working dials, hands on the steering wheel, etc.).

Known Bugs:

• Random game crashes may occur when either CW1988 or CW1988T is spawned with the "warp player inside vehicle" option enabled. This doesn't happen if the option is disabled.

Requirements:

• Latest ScriptHookV (current version: 1.0.2699.0): http://dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv
• Latest ScriptHookVDotNet (current version: 3.5.1): https://github.com/crosire/scripthookvdotnet/releases/download/v3.5.1/ScriptHookVDotNet.zip

Installation Steps:

1. Extract CW1988_1.0.zip and open the extracted folder.
2. Drag and drop the Scripts folder into your Grand Theft Auto V main directory (where GTA5.exe is located).
3. Open OpenIV, enable Edit mode, then navigate to mods/update/x64/dlcpacks and drag and drop the cw1988 folder.
4. In OpenIV, go to mods/update/update.rpf/common/data, right-click on dlclist.xml, then select Edit. Add the following line right above "Paths":
   dlcpacks:/cw1988/
5. Save the changes and hit the track!
