For most locals of Liberty City, a city plagued with crime, corruption, and terrorism, a fierce storm was merely another hurdle. For municipal services, it was a lucrative opportunity for government funds. Billions later, services were operational again. Paramedics arrived late, officers fell in droves, all in their brand-new vehicles. Money well spent? Unlikely. Money well laundered? Absolutely. Welcome to the chaotic city once more.

Spanning almost three years in development, the Liberty City Vehicle & Ped Pack introduces a broad range of service vehicles for Grand Theft Auto V, including LCPD, FDLC, and LC Taxis, old and new. The pack boasts over 60 vehicle models and numerous peds for an immersive experience.

Quality of Life Improvements

Immense attention has been given to every vehicle, including standard Rockstar Games features—LODs, dirt mapping, and breakable glass—plus more. Custom sirens and siren configuration setups add to the depth, ensuring a variety of tones and functionality. Every emergency vehicle also comes with customized lighting patterns. Many police vehicles feature customization options for both visual and performance upgrades.

Diversity

This pack ensures diversity with numerous spawn colors, livery variations, paintable interiors, custom sounds, and unique police scanner entries. Each vehicle and pedestrian has its own personality, enhancing the overall diversity in the game.

Audio Enhancements

To ensure vehicles sound as realistic as they look, custom engine sounds have been developed, giving each vehicle a distinctive character. Siren tones have been replicated from real-world sources for added authenticity, complemented by customized siren configurations with random and varied behavior.

Handling Improvements

Handling and playability have been key focuses; every vehicle is designed to be responsive, fun, and easy to use. Some come equipped with weapons and upgrades for exciting takedowns, sustained chases, and dynamic pursuits.

Installation

1. Step 1: Launch OpenIV.
2. Step 2: Navigate to your 'mods' folder or create one in the GTA V folder if it does not exist.
3. Step 3: Navigate to or create the path "update\x64\dlcpacks" within your 'mods' folder.
4. Step 4: Copy the 'lcpack' folder from the archive into your 'mods' folder.
5. Step 5: Go to 'dlclist.xml' located in update\update.rpf\common\data\. Right-click and select "move to mods folder", or "show in mods folder" if already present.
6. Step 6: Add "dlcpacks:\lcpack\" at the bottom of the dlclist.xml file.
7. Step 7: If done correctly, the mod should now be ready to use.

Note: Due to the large number of assets, you need to install a modified gameconfig.xml file. F7YO's gameconfig.xml is recommended.

It is advisable not to run this mod with other vehicle mods to avoid potential conflicts. Consult the spreadsheet linked in the Support section for a list of important IDs used in the pack.

Integrations

This pack is compatible with WildBrick142's Add-On License Plates mod. The pack will function without this mod, but vehicles are configured to be usable in popgroups.ymt and dispatch.meta files. Alterations to these files may warrant changes in gameconfig.xml for stability.
